During a live event in China, Realme made its GT Neo2 handset official. The Realme GT Neo2 is powered by Snapdragon 870 7nm Mobile Platform with one of its CPU cores clocking up to 3.2GHz, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and supports super-fast charging technology.
The Realme GT Neo2 8GB RAM with 128GB storage goes for 2499 yuan ($386 / NGN158,168 Nigerian Naira approx.), and the company is asking for 2699 yuan ($417 / NGN170,870 Nigerian Naira approx.) for the 256GB storage version.
While the premium model, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 2999 yuan ($463 / NGN189,718 Nigerian Naira approx.). On the front is a Samsung’s 6.62-inch 1080 pixels Full HD+ E4 AMOLED display panel with 120Hz refresh rate, and 600Hz touch sampling.
It is HDR10+ certified, and the screen brightness can go up to 1300nits, with 10240-level brightness adjustment, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, DC dimming, and supports Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection.
On the top left of the display is a single punch hole for the 16-megapixels selfie camera sensor. Around the back is a triple camera setup – an f/1.8 64-megapixels wide lens, 8-megapixels 119° ultra-wide-angle shooter,s and a 2-megapixels macro lens.
The Realme GT Neo2 comes with X-axis linear vibration motor and 4D vibration. The company increased the heat dissipation up to 20% more than its predecessor, which can reduce the phone’s temperature by up to 18°C.
The phone features 7932mm² aerospace-grade diamond heat dissipation gel, 4129mm² 3D VC cooling, customized 3D graphene, and 8-layer full-link heat dissipation structure that eliminates heat dissipation dead spots.
It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 65W Super Dart fast charging that offers 0 to 100% charge in 36 minutes. It comes with USB Type-C audio, stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res Audio.
Realme GT Neo2 is 8.6mm thick, weighs 199.8g, and comes with NFC support. Thanks to the chipset, it comes with 5G SA/ NSA, and other connectivity such as Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C.
It is available in three color options with impressive designs plate – A Black Mint comes with a fluorescent green color with creative matt glass splicing art, one-sided design.
Thanks to 52° four-sided arc, both Blue and Shadow Black come with Satin AG art glass with 68% super high haze, antifouling, and anti-fingerprint finish for a perfect grip. It is available for order and will go on sale in China from September 27th.
