Realme announces GT Master Edition series with 8GB/12GB RAM

Realme officially launches its latest Smartphone edition – Realme GT Master Edition and Realme GT Master Exploration Edition in the company’s GT Edition series.

Well, this is not the first time the company will be releasing the Master edition of its flagship handset with a premium finish, offering advanced specs and features.

Realme partnered with Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa once again to bring the two Master Edition phones with traditional frosted glass back versions.

Suitcase – that is the design inspiration for the two new devices featuring ridged patterns complete with soft-touch leather.

It uses a vegan leather back cover that has a concave-convex grille texture that is not only visually recognizable but also softer to the touch compared to glass.

The GT Master Exploration Edition version comes in gray and apricot colors while the Master Edition comes only in grat.

These also come in normal AG glass back versions in gradient and white colors. It is quite obvious the design, texture, colors are the major part of the Master Edition series.

On the front display, these phones use Super AMOLED variety and sports a 120Hz refresh rate, but the GT Master Exploration Edition comes with a curved 6.55-inch with FHD+ resolution.

While the Master Edition falls back to a flat 6.43-inch panel. These devices use under-display fingerprint scanners and pack 32-megapixels selfie cameras.

These phones run on Android 11 OS with realme UI 2.0 out of the box, support Dual SIM, and comes with support for a 65W ultra-fast flash SuperDart charger.

Although, the battery capacity is different, where the GT Master Edition Explorer offers 4500mAh and the GT Master Edition with 4300mAh.

The cameras are another major differences, the Exploration Edition offers a Sony IMX766 50-megapixels f/1.88 rear camera, support for OIS, EIS, and LED flash.

It is joined with another f/2.2 16-megapixels 119° Ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixels f/2.4 macro camera. Support stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio.

While the GT Master Edition comes with an f.1/8 64-megapixels rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 8-megapixels 119° Ultra-wide Lens, and 2-megapixels f.2.4 macro sensors.

It uses a Superlinear speaker and both support Hi-Res Audio, 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1 + L5), and NFC.

The software inside is quite powerful when it comes to the GT Master Exploration Edition with a 3.2GHz Snapdragon 870 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 650 GPU.

While the GT Master Edition is driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 6nm Mobile Platform with its Kryo 670 CPUs clocking at 2.4GHz coupled with Adreno 642L GPU.

Realme GT Master Exploration Edition

The Gt Master Edition comes in 8GB RAM with 128GB storage 2399 yuan ($370 USD) and 256GB storage option for 2599 yuan ($401 USD).

While the GT Master Exploration Edition offers 8GB RAM with 128GB 2799 yuan ($432 USD) and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage for 3099 yuan ($478 USD).

You can pre-order these devices starting from today, but the phones will officially go on sale from the 30th of July and during that price, the prices will cost 100 yuan more.
