Introducing Realme’s latest flagship Smartphone, this is the Realme GT 5G and it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipsets, offering a better camera, impressive hardware and it runs on Android 11.
The Realme GT 5G packs a 6.43” Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate with five different settings, but this totally depends on the user’s preference.
It packs a leather-like finish design, and it is available in three color options, there are Galactic Silver, Deep Sea Blue, and Dawn Yellow color options. It features a triple rear camera setup inside the bump-up camera house.
There is the primary sensor, which is the 64-megapixels camera with EIS, LED-flash support and it can easily record 4K/60fps videos, while slow-mo at 720p/480 fps. The secondary 8-megapixels ultrawide unit and the 2-megapixels macro camera lens.
Inside the hole-punch in the upper left corner is the 16-megapixels selfie shooter. Realme GT 5G comes with something that is kinda rarely seen on a flagship device, it is the 3.5mm audio jack, which is substituted for USB Type-C audio.
Other connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, GPS, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.2, and support for Wi-Fi standards, even to Wi-Fi 6e, the card slot holds two nano-SIM cards and comes with supports for Dolby Atmos-tuned sound setup.
Powering this premium device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with either 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB (UFS 3.1) storage or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage. However, there is no support for the MicroSD card slot for expanding.
The Realme GT 5G comes with HyperBoost 4.0 package that helps enhances the processor performance for better gaming sessions. It runs the company’s Realme UI 2.0 skin based on Android 11 OS.
It features a 4,500mAh battery capacity with 65W fast charging support over the wire, which can promise to last for up to a few days and it does not support wireless charging technology.
The GT 5G 8GB RAM / 128GB storage version goes for CNY2,799 ($430/€360), while the 12GB RAM / 256GB storage options costs CNY3,299 ($510/€420). There is confirmation for global markets, but there’ll be a first flash sale in China.
