Realme C1 arrives with notch display and lacks Fingerprint sensor

Oppo sub-brand Realme launches another mid-range device in Nigeria and its sports respected features. The Realme C1 Smartphone packs a notch display at the top front, which houses the camera pixels, light sensor and receiver.

The Realme C1 mobile phone comes with slimmer bezels at the bottom, which is quite reasonable and impressive. It is not a high-end Smartphone, hence, it lacks features like NFC or USB Type-C connectivity but there is the mega battery capacity.

Realme C1

The phone features a portable 6.2’ LCD HD+ 720 pixels 19:9 notched Full Screen display and boasts of 88.8% screen-to-body ratio, which is quite reasonable and protected by a corning glass.

The Realme C1 is much like the low-end Redmi 6A and Realme 1, the C1 leaves the fingerprint scanner behind. Vivo and other Chinese companies has been incorporating this new system into their latest Smartphones.

At the back, the phone features a dual camera setup, which consists of 13-megapixels + 2-megapixels with f/2.2 Aperture, 5P Lens, PDAF Fast Focusing and supports Bokeh Mode, HDR and AI Beautification.

While at the front, the phone features a 5-megapixels with f/2.2 Aperture Lens at 1.12µm pixels, HDR and supports
AI Beautification, AI Facial Unlock. It records 720p / 1080p videos at 30fps. Which is quite inspiring.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset, running at 1.8Ghz Octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, 16GB in-built storage and expandable up to 256GB via micro SD card slot.

It runs on Android 8.1 0reo under the company’s Color OS 5.1 and fueled by a 4,230mAh battery, with AI Power Master to minimize and optimize the battery life.

This entry-level device comes at a special 6,999 rupees / $96 / N34,500 price, but this is only for the Diwali season. Anyways, according to the company the phone will launch alongside the Realme 2 Pro on October 11.
