Realme 7 and Realme 7 PRO are official with 64MP QUAD-rear camera

    Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro have been officially announced with 64-megapixels quad-rear camera setup, 16MP, and 32-megapixels selfie snapper respectively, and both runs on Android 10 with realme UI on top.

    Both phones are quite different from each, from screen display, processor, battery, selfie camera, and others. But they come with more advanced specifications than the Realme 6 and Realme 6 PRO that was introduced 6 months ago.

    Boasting of the improved features, the Realme 7 and Realme 7 PRO offers better cameras, bigger batteries with faster-charging technology, which is the Realme 7 PRO’s 65W VOOC SuperDart Charge fast charging.

    The company is asking for Rs. 19,999 ($270) for the Realme 7 PRO’s 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version, and Rs. 21,999 ($300) for the top-end Realme 7 PRO 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version. It’ll be available on September 14th.

    While the Realme 7 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version goes for Rs. 14999 ($205), and Rs. 16,999 ($230) for the 8GB / 128GB model. The company mentioned that it’ll be available from September 10th.

    The Realme 7 is built around a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate, 90.5% screen-to-body ratio, 1080 pixels screen resolution, with up to 480 nits brightness.

    Realme mentioned that these Smartphones has passed TUV Rheinland Smartphone Reliability Verification, it is first for the company. It sports an AG Split Design (AG processing with classic CD textures), splash-proof and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

    Instead of the Realme 6’s G90T, the Realme 7 is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G95 12nm processor offering Dual 2.05GHz A76 + Hexa 2GHz A55 CPUs with 900MHz Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU.

    It comes with 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. Realme 7 is available for Mist White and Mist Blue color options.

    It comes with a 5000mAh battery, which is bigger than the Realme 6’s 4300mAh battery but with 30W SuperDart Charge fast charging support that can charge the phone up to 50% in 26 minutes, and 100% in 65 minutes.

    For the cameras, the Realme 7 comes with a quad-rear cameras setup, which includes the f/1.7 Sony IMX682 64-megapixels rear camera with 0.8μm pixel size, LED flash, UIS/UIS Max, 8-megapixels1 19° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, dual 2-megapixels as B&W portrait camera and 4cm macro sensor.

    It is identical to the Realme 7 PRO’s rear main camera, that offers Starry Mode and can switch between AI Mode and Pro Mode in the 64MP Mode and Night Mode. While the siblings remain the same with the Realme 6 Pro.

    At the top-notch is the Sony IMX471 16-megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C as its connectivity. It measures 9.4mm and weighs 196.5g.

    On the other hand, the Realme 7 PRO is offering something more productive. It comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 1080 pixels screen resolution, and 90.8% screen-to-body ratio.

    Instead of offering a more premium screen, Realme decided to add some tweak here, if you want a Smartphone with an LCD 90Hz refresh rate screen, then you can opt for the vanilla 7, but an AMOLED 60Hz refresh rate screen is offered on the 7 PRO.

    If you will still enjoy that traditional smooth scrolling. However, the company mentioned that the downgrades were from customers review that preferred the 60Hz AMOLED screen over a 90Hz LCD panel.

    Unlike the Realme 7, the company built the fingerprint inside the screen display. It sports the same design, measures 8.7mm thick, weighs 182, and with support for Always-on Display.

    The Realme 7 Pro is offered in both Mirror White and Mirror Blue color option, 3.5mm audio jack, Dolby Atmos with Stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio, USB Type-C, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), and Bluetooth 5.

    Realme is offering a more premium fast charging techniques on the 7 PRO, it is the 65W VOOC SuperDart Charge fast charging that can fully power up the 7 PRO’s 4500mAh battery from 0 to 100% in 34 minutes.

    Unlike the Realme 6 PRO with two front-facing cameras, and a QUAD-rear camera setup, summing up to six cameras in total. The Realme 7 PRO offers a single 32-megapixels front camera with f/2.5 aperture.

    While the back camera setup includes the main 1/1.73″ Sony IMX682 64-megapixels sensor, 8-megapixels 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixels B&W portrait camera, and 2-megapixels 4cm macro sensor. These offer Starry Mode, Pro Nightscape Mode, Ultra Nightscape Video modes.

    It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 720G 8nm Mobile Platform offering Dual 2.3GHz Kryo 465 A76 + Hexa 1.8GHz Kryo 465 A55 CPUs with Adreno 618 GPU, 6GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.

    These Smartphones come with LPPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.1 internal storage system, Dual SIM which is the nano + nano + microSD. Both phone’s variant will be available via Flipkart, and realme.com, and offline stores later on.
