Poco X3 GT unveiled, Dimensity 1100 chips and 8GB RAM

    From one GT model to another, POCO officially introduces its next GT Smartphone – Poco X3 GT powered by Dimensity 1100 chipset.

    The Poco X3 GT is not just a rebranded device but also an international version of the China-exclusive Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G.

    Well, the X3 GT was unveiled in Malaysia with a 6.6-inch 1080 pixels Full HD+ LCD 20:9, HDR10+ certified, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

    The display panel comes with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, which switches between 120Hz, 90Hz, 60Hz, 50Hz, 48Hz, and 24Hz depending on the content.

    It comes with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, up to 450nits brightness and the display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

    Powering up the Poco X3 GT is the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 6nm chips with up to 2.6GHz processor coupled with ARM G77 MC9 GPU.

    The new handset is available in 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 3.1) storage and there is the 256GB storage model also.

    It runs on Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 and features a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging.

    There is a hole-punch camera cutout that houses a 16-megapixels selfie shooter and sports a triple rear camera setup.

    The main f/1.79 64-megapixels sensor is accompanied by an 8-megapixels ultrawide snapper and a 2-megapixels macro camera.

    Other specs are a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, Dual SIM, USB Type-C audio, Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

    It comes with IP53 Splash Resistant, and connectivity includes 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and NFC.

    The Poco X3 GT comes in Cloud White, Wave Blue, and Stargaze Black colors options measure 8.9mm and weigh 193g.

    • Poco X3 GT 8GB/256GB costs RM 1399 ($330/NGN135,800)

    The company officially mentioned that the device will go on sale in Malaysia starting from August 3rd.

    It will be available across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa. Well, we aren’t sure about Nigeria but watch out for online/offline retailers.
