OPPO announces two Android Smartphones in the country – Reno5 and Reno5 F with AMOLED displays, in-display fingerprint scanner, 4310mAh battery, and comes with QUAD cameras on the back. The OPPO Reno5 F is completely powered by the MediaTek Helio P95 chipset.
The Reno5 F made its official global debuts, after being teased in Kenya last month as “Picture Life Together” and now made its way to Nigeria a later. It is available in two special color options in what the company is calling – Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple.
On the front is a 6.43″ FHD+ AMOLED flat-screen display with 1080p screen resolution and supports a traditional 60Hz refresh rate with 135Hz touch sampling rate, which can scale up to 180Hz touch sampling during the Game mode.
OPPO is also adding up to 800 nits of peak brightness, which incredible and brightens up the display. It also supports an under-display fingerprint scanner sensor. It measures 160.1 x 73.2 x 7.8mm, and weighs 172g.
Inside the rear camera mansion is a QUAD-camera setup, featuring a primary f/1.7 48-megapixels camera, secondary f/2.2 8-megapixels fixed-focus ultrawide and 119-degree field-of-view.
Other cameras includes 2-megapixels f/2.4 macro camera, and f/2.4 2-megapixels mono camera, which takes portrait shot enhancement. At the upper-left top of the display is a 32-megapixels selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
The cameras features includes an AI Color Portrait Video mode that highlights the color of the subject while turning the background black and white. There is also a monochrome video mode that highlights only one color while turning everything else into monochrome.
Powering up the device is MediaTek’s Helio P95 chipset with a 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU. It is av available in a single variant, 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage, which is expandable through a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
Keeping the device light on is the 4310mAh battery capacity with support for 30W VOOC Charging via USB Type-C connectivity. It runs on Android 11 OS out of the box with OPPO’s ColorOS 11 skin on top.
