Design and Display
The Oppo R15x arrives with a water-drop notch display, which holds the single front facing selfie snapper. Notched phones are silently revolutionizing from those iPhone X wide notch, now to this. Anyways, the R15x comes with the same v-shaped notch display like the K1.
Bezels and borders surrounding the display is quite much smaller, minimal and thinner. However, there is a chin at the bottom of the display, the front screen holds a 6.4-inch 19.5:9 AMOLED display with screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.
Oppo R15x boasts of 91% screen-to-body ratio, and the screen display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. You won’t find a fingerprint sensor at the back, because it was integrated into the display itself. It is the UD Synaptics optical fingerprint scanner, available in Nebula and Ice Blue color variants.
Camera and Connectivity
Optics of the phone is much more like those regular models, there is dual camera setup at the back, which consists of 16-megapixels f/1.7 primary sensor and a secondary 2-megapixels for in-depth shots / portraits mode. The company promises that the phone can take sumptuous shots.
At the front, it holds a massive 25-megapixels selfie sensor, and it is empowered and enhanced by AI-capabilities, 800 detection modes, and intelligent beauty features. Other features includes, AI-scene, AI-detection etc.

Performance and Battery
The phone runs on ColorOS 5.2 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo, it is not the latest operating system and coupled with the Octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC processor, this shows that the phone is a little bit compromised to bring in a portable and affordable device.
Comes with 6GB of RAM, which will combine with the processor to provide seamless and faster performance. It comes with a 128GB of in-built storage, this is much bigger than the K1 but the same with R17 and R17 Pro Android Smartphone. Anyways, you still have a lot of space to store more files and documents.
