OPPO K5 unveiled with 64-megapixels QUAD rear cameras in China

After series of leaks, rumors, and teasers, OPPO has finally launched their latest mid-range Smartphone. This is the OPPO K5 with the recently introduced 64-megapixel Quad Camera setup.

Other impressive specifications and features are waterdrop-notched 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 730G, in-display fingerprint scanner, up to 8GB RAM, and 256GB of onboard storage.

However, the company introduced the K5 on Thursday, in China. The Quad-rear cameras are vertically mounted at the left side of the back panel and a flashlight at the side.

The OPPO K5 with its 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio is definitely incredible, and it also boasts of 91.9% screen-to-body ratio.

It arrives with a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with 1/1.72″ Samsung GW1 sensor and f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP 119° ultra-wide angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.25 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP camera for 4cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture are same.

While the water-drop notch display houses a single 32-megapixels front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The handset supports dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port.

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G with 6GB/8GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0. It is completely backed by a 4000mAh battery capacity with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging.

The pricing are $267, $295 and $350 for the 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage version respectively. You can start ordering today in China, while the phone will officially ship out from October 17th.
