During the OPPO Find X3 series launch event, Chinese Smartphone maker, OPPO announces the Find X3 Pro, Find X3 Neo, Find X3 Lite, and made the Find X3 official with little details.
The Find X3 packs a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 5Hz-120Hz refresh rate and 1440x3216px screen resolution with a single 32-megapixels selfie camera inside the punch-hole display. It is available in Black, Blue, and White color options.
Around the back is the camera bump-up that features a dual 50-megapixels Sony IMX766 1/1.56″ sensor for both wide and ultrawide, 13-megapixels 5x hybrid, 2x optical telephoto, and 3-megapixels 60x magnification macro lens.
The Oppo Find X3 is powered by the 7nm Snapdragon 870 processor, and it packs a 4,500mAh battery capacity with support for 65W wired and 30W wireless charging. The X3 is quite identical to the Pro, but the differences are the chipset and RAM.
However, the Oppo Find X3 is on pre-sale right now on JD.com and will ship on March 19, where the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage goes for CNY 4,499 and the 8GB RAM / 256GB storage costs CNY 4,999.
Rumors have it that the Find X3 will only be available in China, while the Oppo Find X3 Pro and the Find X3 Lite smartphones are the global versions of the Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G that were introduced in China back in December last year.
The OPPO Find X3 Pro is fresh out of the company’s latest X3 series launch event, offering you is the OPPO’s newest flagship Smartphone with Qualcomm’s high-end chipset, the 5nm Snapdragon 888 SoC clocked at 2.84GHz Octa-Core with Adreno 660 GPU.
It arrives in alone variant, 12GB LPDDR5 3200MHz RAM, with 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage, runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.2. It comes with support for a 5G modem, thanks to the Snapdragon 888 with its Snapdragon X60 modem.
The 5G-modem will support up to 13 bands, both on the SA and NSA spectrum, which Oppo says is more than any other flagship smartphone on the market. Other features includes ultra-thin VC liquid cooling, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, USB 3.1 and it offers Dolby Atmos-certified Stereo Speakers.
On the front of the device is an intriguing 6.7” LTPO Samsung E4 AMOLED with QHD+ resolution supports that allows the refresh rate to go between 5Hz and 120Hz that provide extra smoothnes but only when needed to and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The X3 Pro rear panel design is somewhat unique, OPPO used a piece of glass that flows seamlessly in a continuous curve, it is more like a curved glass back that uses a 40-hour process in a single glass that flows over the camera bump naturally and blends into the metallic frame.
This in turns provides a flawless design, where the Gloss Black design uses a glossy glass that is prone to fingerprints. However, the company used AG glass finish design on the Blue versions.
Inside a punch hole in the upper left corner is the 32-megapixels selfie shooter. But the back panel features a quad-camera setup that houses two Sony IMX766 50-megapixels sensors with 1/1.56” in size.
Where the f/1.8 50-megapixels primary sensor is the wide-angle camera that supports OIS, EIS, and All Pixel Omni-directional PDAF, which delivers quick and accurate focus in all lighting conditions.
On the other hand, there secondary f/2.2 50- megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with 4cm macro mode, supported by 13-megapixel pixel telephoto camera for 5x hybrid optical zoom and up to 20x digital zoom, and a 3-megapixel 60x microscope camera that can also shoot 1080p video and lets you add filters.
It packs a 4500mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 super flash charge wired fast charging, it is a speedy charging that can fill up the battery from 0 to 40% in 10 minutes, and full charge in 30 minutes.
But the 30W VOOC Air wireless charging that can charges the device from 0 to 100% in just 80 minutes. This is the first in the lineup to bring support for wireless charging technology.
The Oppo Find X3 Pro 12GB LPPDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage in either Gloss Black or anti-glare Blue Matte will ship from 30 March for €1,149 ($1375) and 14th April in the UK for £1,099.
Here is the Find X3 Neo in Galactic Silver and Starlight Black colors options, and will be priced at €749 ($895 USD) and £699. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 650 GPU.
It is available in a single lone option, 12GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage, runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 OS, supports Dual SIM, in-display fingerprint sensor, and USB Type-C Audio.
It is thick at 7.99mm, weighs 184g and comes with the following connectivity, 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC support and packs 4500mAh battery with 65W Super Flash Charge (SuperVOOC 2.0) fast charging through USB Type-C.
On the front is a 6.5-inch Full HD+ 3D 90Hz OLED display with up to 1100nits peak brightness, HDR 10+, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 1080 pixels screen resolution.
It carries f/1.8 50-megapixels rear camera with Sony IMX766 sensor, OIS, and LED flash. The Smartphone comes with f/2.2 16-megapixels 119° Ultra Wide Lens, 13-megapixels telephoto camera with up to 5x hybrid zoom.
The last camera sensor is the f/2.4 2-megapixels macro, and the hole-punch display hosts a single 32-megapixels front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture. It will be available in Europe and the UK starting from mid-April.
Lastly, this is the OPPO Find X3 Lite, which is another affordable member of the Find X3 series. It comes with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ 2.5D OLED display, HDR10+, 1080 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection.
It features a 64-megapixels rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, 8-megapixels 119° Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.2 aperture, dual 2-megapixels lens for either macro, and mono portrait lens. It arrives with 32-megapixels selfie lens.
The Find X3 Lite bases on the Snapdragon 765G 7nm EUV Octa-Core with 1.8GHz Kryo 475 CPUs, Adreno 620 GPU and comes in 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage. It runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 and supports Dual SIM.
It also comes with support for an in-display fingerprint sensor, thick at 7.9mm and weighs 172g. You can find it in either Galactic Silver, Starry Black and Astral Blue color options and features 3.5mm audio jack.
The connectivity options includes 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS. It packs a 4300mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charge () fast charging through USB Type-C. The retail price is £399, (€465/$560) and will also be available in Europe and the UK starting from mid-April.
