OPPO F17 and OPPO F17 PRO announced in India as the company’s latest Smartphone in its F-series phones. The phones are quite different from each other, offering some unique specs and features.
To power the phones up, OPPO used a moderate 4000mAh battery capacity with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 fast charging technology. It can power your phone from 0 to 100% charge faster, can be fully charged in 53 minutes.
It also comes with AI Night Charging that will help you sleep better, as it leaves the final 80-100% charge for the 90-minute window before you wake up, gently trickle-charging the battery.
You can enjoy 5-hours of talk time, 2 hours of YouTube playback, an hour of TikTok, or 36 minutes of PUBG gaming with just a 5-minute charge with the VOOC 4.0 fast charging tech on the OPPO F17 PRO Smartphone.
The F17 PRO sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with 1080p+ resolution (20:9), but it comes with the traditional 60Hz refresh rate, but hey, it is certified to play HD video from Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
However, it boasts of a 90.07% screen-to-body ratio and comes with a dual punch-hole that houses a 16-megapixel main camera along with a 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots.
While the rear sides hold a triple rear camera setup, the main 48-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and dual 2-megapixel monochromatic camera.
Similar to the front cameras with AI-powered effects, the rear cameras come with support for AI Super Night Portrait, AI Night Flare Portrait, and more. Both phone measures 7.48mm sleek and weigh 164g.
It comes with a fingerprint reader under the display, which can unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds. While the Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ is protecting both the display and dual punch-hole cameras.
For design, the company said that it has an industry-first 220° rounded edge design, which curves around the sides and back, and uses a high-gloss technique, refracts light around the top of the rounded edges, which makes the phones comfortable to hold.
While the F17 PRO is powered by a gaming processor, an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P95 12nm processor with IMG PowerVR GM 9446 GPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, expandable up to 512GB with microSD, and runs on Color OS 7.2 based on Android 10.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 8nm processor powers up the vanilla F17 with a 4GB RAM / 64GB memory configuration, and more up to 8GB RAM / 128GB internal storage.
OPPO F17 still arrives with the same 6.4″ AMOLED panel of 1080p resolution screen display but offers a single 16-megapixel main camera. Likewise the battery, it is fueled by a 4,000 mAh battery and 30W VOOC charging.
Around the back are the main f/2.2 48-megapixels 1/3.06” sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and dual 2-megapixel mono camera. The OPPO Reno F17 pricing and availability will be announced soon.
But the F17 Pro starts at Rs. 22,990 ($314), while the pre-order starts from today. The device will be available from Flipkart and Amazon.in as well as offline stores starting from September 7th.
