Oppo A95 launched with Snapdragon 662 chipset and 48MP camera lens

Months, after launching the Oppo A95 5G, a renowned Smartphone maker, Oppo officially announces its latest Smartphone – Oppo A95 and it is the 4G LTE variant of the 5G-powered Smartphone released.

Well, there are some distinctive differences between the Oppo A95 and Oppo A95 5G. Lets start with the processor, the 5G option is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, while the newly launched Oppo A95 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chips.

The camera department sees another big change, where both offers a primary 48-megapixels sensor, followed by a 2-megapixels macro lens, but instead of the 8-megapixels ultrawide on the 5G variant, the vanilla A95 brings another 2-megapixels depth sensor.

While the punch hole cutout on the top-left houses a 16-megapixels selfie camera. The Oppo A95 boots ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 OS out of the box, identical to the 5G variant. There is 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 support.

Another difference is the battery capacity, where the Oppo A95 is fueled by a massive 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support through USB-C port, but the 5G comes with a slightly smaller 4310mAh battery capacity with a slower 30W fast charging.

Aside from these, the phones are just the same, featuring the same 6.43-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, standard 60Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor scanner. Oppo A95 comes in Glowing Starry Black and Glowing Rainbow Silver colors.

Oppo A95 Pricing

Unlike the 5G in two memory option, the Oppo A95 comes in 8GB RAM but in a single 128GB storage option that costs MYR 1,099 ($264) in Malaysia through Oppo’s website and other retailers. It is available right now for purchase.
