OPPO A93 5G announced with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chips

The OPPO A93 5G is the company’s latest Smartphone with a 90Hz screen display and Snapdragon 480 SoC. It is also the direct successor to the OPPO A93 that was officially introduced last year with the MediaTek Helio P95 processor.

OPPO A93 5G is the successor with an inbuilt 5G modem because the last year’s model was only limited to 4G LTE. The device comes in three colors, there are Silver, Black, and Aurora color options.

On the front is a 6.5″ FullHD+ 90Hz LCD screen display with 180Hz touch sampling rate. There is a punch hole at the top for a single 8-megapixels selfie camera.

While the rear panel holds a triple vertical camera setup, there is 48-megapixels main sensor, that is supported by 2-megapixels macro lens, and 2-megapixels monochrome sensors. It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Oppo A93 5G

The Oppo A93 5G is completely powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor with support for dual-mode 5G (SA/NSA). It runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1, and has a triple heat dissipation system onboard with a dissipation area of 9881mm².

It arrives with two memory options, there are the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage and 8GB RAM / 256GB storage. Fortunately, there is support for microSD card support for up to 256GB of storage. And there is support for a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The new handset packs a gigantic 5000mAh battery capacity with support for 18W charging through a USB-C port. While the 8GB RAM / 256GB storage option can be pre-order through the company’s official site in China for CNY1,999 ($310 USD). The 8GB RAM / 128GB storage was not mentioned.
