Design and Display
The OPPO A9 is the company’s latest mid-range Smartphone, and it packs a 3D gradient design at the back panel. Which is stunning to look upon.
It comes with a 6.53-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display, including the water-drop or dewdrop notch display at the up front.
OPPO A9 screen display is protected by a fifth-gen Corning Gorilla Glass, and boasts of 90.7% screen-to-body ratio, which explains the reduced bezels around the corners.
Although, there is a slight at the bottom of the display. Thankfully, it also holds a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille under.
While other components like the volume rockers stays on the left edge, and the right edge of the phone hosts a the power button.
The mobile phone is available in three color options Mica Green, Jade White, and Fluorite Purple colour options. It includes a rear mounted fingerprint sensor scanner.
Camera and Connectivity
You will a bunch of phones housing a triple rear camera out here, but the OPPO A9 packs a dual camera setup, and like others, there is a selfie snapper.
At the back of the phone is a centered-vertically mounted dual camera lens, which consists of 16-megapixel rear camera with AI scene recognition + a 2-megapixel secondary lens.

It is only available in a single RAM and storage model, which is the 6GB of RAM, and 128GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD.
OPPO A9 runs on the latest Android 9.0 (Pie) with the company’s ColorOS 6.0 on top. It is backed by a 4020mAh battery with fast charging support.
Starting from April 30th in China, you can easily purchase the OPPO A9 at a starting price of 1799 yuan, which is around €239 / $266 / Rs. 18,730 via the company’s official website. It is definitely a breath-taking mid-range device!
