OPPO A74 5G announced as the company’s latest Android Smartphone in India. This isn’t the first market release for the OPPO A74 5G as it was first launched in Cambodia and Thailand with four cameras and an AMOLED display.
The A74 5G is OPPO’s first budgeted 5G Smartphone under its Rs. 20,000 ($265), the company is offering the phone at Rs. 17,990 ($238) and starting from April 26th, it will be available via Amazon.in and offline stores.
Probably, the camera might not be the most interesting feature here, but the triple rear camera on the back is kinda impressive. Featuring a primary f/1.7 48-megapixels camera, PDAF, and comes with support for LED flash.
While the other two cameras, you guessed it right, 2-megapixels depth lens and 2-megapixels macro cameras with f/2.4 aperture. Inside the top-notch at the left-corner display is an 8-megapixels f/2.0 sensor for selfies.
As we move inside the phone, we recognized the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipsets that drive the A74 5G handset. It is an 8nm Mobile Platform with one of its CPU Core clockings at a 2GHz processor count.
It comes with Adreno 619 GPU for graphic control during gameplay. It is available in a single memory configuration, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage, and it is expandable up to 256GB through a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
We return back to the screen display, it sports a 6.5-inch full-HD+ 1080p LTPS LCD panel with the standard 90Hz refresh rate, 405ppi of pixel density, 20:9 aspect ratio, 550 nits brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
The device measures 8.4mm, weighs 190g, and comes in Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple colors options. It arrives with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W charging through USB Type-C.
The mobile handset supports Dual SIM and runs ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 OS out of the box. It comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS / GLONASS/ Beidou.
