The Chinese Smartphone maker, OPPO silently unveiled a brand new phone, known as OPPO A12 with a 6.2-inch Waterdrop screen display, dual rear cameras, MediaTek Helio P35 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM, and 4230mAh battery.
It is definitely the company’s latest entry-level device and went official in Indonesia. The new OPPO A12 is an actual basic Smartphone with cool specs and features.
The OPPO A12 packs a textured polycarbonate body, measures 8.3mm, weighs 165g, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, DUAL SIM and available in Black and Blue color options.

The new brand phone was quietly introduced into the Indonesian markets with a 6.22-inch 720 pixels HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It comes with a waterdrop notch display that houses the single 5-megapixels selfie camera lens, and a horizontal dual camera stays at the back, the main 13-megapixels sensor and 2-megapixels sensor.
The connectivity options and features include the following, Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, Micro USB Port, retains the 3.5 mm audio jack, and support FM Radio.
Under the hood, the phone is completely powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P35 12nm processor, IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, they can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD.
While the phone is fueled by a moderate 4230mAh battery capacity, which charges over a micro-USB connector. Well, the company did not specify if there is any fast charging tech.
It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box with the company’s skin ColorOS 6.1. However, we don’t have an idea about the international variants, but the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage costs 24,99,000 Indonesian Rupiah ($161). While the 3/32GB variant price remains unknown.
