Opera Touch Android browser allows you to browse quickly and faster

Opera Touch is the newest browser launched by Opera company for Android phones and the common importance of the app is basically for one-handed use. Surprisingly but Opera takes a lot of experience ideas design from the Opera Neon browser which is for desktop users.

The app is only usable for Android and it is available in Google Playstore but the iOS version is coming sooner or later, Opera didn’t specify when. Normally on the browser, you most times need two hands operation to tap the bookmarks at either the top or the side of the browser but the company new browser omits that.

The Opera Touch allows you to arrange the tab switcher and access to your bookmarks at the bottom of the page but the bookmarks aren’t pin by you, it is the list of most often used sites. On the launching the app, the address bar immediately opens up for you to search the web. The browser comes with Opera’s ad blocker.

There is something Opera calls ‘Flow’ “it creates a list feed of websites that you’ve shared from one platform to the other that you can scroll back through to find what you’re looking for.” as said by TheVerge

And when you’re on a website, scrolling up will reveal a button at the bottom of the page that you can tap to access your other tabs or to start a new one. When you hold it down, this “fast action” button also gives you easy access to your tabs and a simple tap lets you quickly start a search or type a URL.

“We have moved the browser’s key functions within your thumb’s reach,” said Maciej Kocemba, product manager at Opera, in today’s announcement. “This means that, unlike in most other browsers, you can more easily browse and search the web when on the move.”

Thankfully, the Opera Touch is a stand-alone mobile browser, serves as a strong and efficient browser to use in Android phones, comparatively, it is better than the Amazon Internet browser, which was launched few weeks ago, although, it is for slow internet connection.
