After the launch of the ZTE AXON 30 series last month, nubia announces its latest gaming Smartphone – nubia Z30 Pro and it bears some remarkable specs resemblances to the ZTE AXON 30 Ultra.
The nubia Z30 Pro is driven by Qualcomm’s latest chipset, Snapdragon 888 processor, and it brings a much higher and upgraded fast charging capacity than the ZTE AXON 30 Ultra’s 66W charging speed.
On the front panel, it got a curved 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, supports a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The panel can output 10bit colors and brings HDR10+ support in a 20:9 aspect ratio.
It arrives with an SGS Eye Care-certified panel that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, supports DC Dimming, 93.45% screen-to-body ratio, as well as an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
nubia Z30 Pro is 8.5mm thick, weighs 198g, and comes in three colors – Vast Black, Interstellar Silver, and Black Gold Legend options. ZTE calls the AXON 30 Ultra’s screen “borderless display” identical to the Z30 Pro.
Around the back panel is a quad-camera setup, it starts with a primary 64-megapixels sensor with OIS support, Sony IMX686 sensor next is a secondary 64-megapixels sensor with a 120° ultra-wide-angle lens.
There is another 64-megapixels sensor known as a ‘humanistic’ camera, which features a longer 35mm lens, and lastly, an 8-megapixels sensor with a 5x periscope lens and 50x digital zoom with an equivalent focal length of 123mm.
It also comes with support for OIS, which brings a perfect from shaky hands when zooming into subjects. Whereas, the centered punch-hole houses a single 16-megapixels selfie shooter.
Powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset, available in 8GB RAM / 12GB RAM / 16GB RAM with either 256GB or 512GB internal storage. It features five-layer micron graphene and VC liquid-cooled soaking plate which keeps the thermals down.
It runs on nubia UI 9.0 with improved software features such as all-new icons, wallpapers, animations, and AOD watch faces based on Android 11 OS. There’s a 4,600mAh battery with a 120W charger which fills up the cell from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes.
The nubia Z3O Pro sports dual stereo speakers with support for DTS: X Ultra but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. Other connectivity options include dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and GPS.
What is nubia Z30 Pro Price?
Inside the phone case, it ships out with a 120W power adapter, a USB Type-C to Type-C cable, a USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter, and a protective case.
The nubia Z30 Pro 8GB / 256GB model costs CNY 4,999 ($777), while the 12GB/256GB trim goes for CNY 5,399 ($840) and the top 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at CNY 5,999 ($932).
The Smartphone’s official sales in China are set to begin on May 25. However, these prices are totally different from the AXON 30 Ultra, where the base model 8GB RAM costs CNY 4,700 ($720), and up to CNY 6,666 ($1,020/€850) for the top-end premium variant.
