Nokia C20 Plus unveiled in China with a 6.5-inch” display and 3GB RAM

HND Global officially introduces its latest Smartphone – Nokia C20 Plus with a 6.5-inch 720p display, three cameras in total, and it is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A processor running through the device.

The new Nokia C20 Plus is somewhat an upgrade to the Nokia C20 Smartphone that was unveiled in April. Both phones arrive with almost identical specifications and features. Although, there are still some differences.

On the front, it sports a 6.5-inch 720 pixels HD+ V-notch 20:9 aspect ratio LCD screen and features a waterdrop notch display. The bezels on the front display are similar to other Nokia’s entry-level smartphones.

The bezels are slightly slimmer, but the bottom bezels hold the company’s name and it is also plastered on the rear panel of the phone. It is 9.5mm thick and weighs 204.7g, which is slightly heavy for such a handset.

As usual, Nokia promised a better grip as the phone features a sleek Nordic design with a casing with an ergonomically designed panel. The Nokia C20 Plus comes in Ocean Blue and Graphite Black color options.

We already mentioned that the Nokia C20 Plus arrives with a waterdrop notch display that houses a single 5-megapixels selfie snapper. The company did not mention the features but promises some cool selfie shots.

Around the back panel is a dual-camera lens, set up inside a circular camera layout. Starting with the primary 8-megapixels camera with support for LED Flash, and another secondary 2-megapixels depth sensor.

The waterdrop notch and single camera lens on the front are identical to the previous model, but the additional 8-megapixels on the C20 Plus’s back is the major rear camera upgrade.

The HMD Global’s Nokia C20 Plus is driven by the Unisoc SC9863A chipset, with its CPU Core clocking at a 1.6GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with IMG8322 GPU for better graphic control during gameplay.

Nokia C20 Plus arrives in a single memory configuration, – 3GB RAM with 32GB (eMMC 5.1) internal storage, with support for memory expansion up to 256GB through the microSD card slot. Allowing you to store more files and more.

It runs Android 11 Go Edition OS out of the box, comes with Dual SIM, FM radio supports and arrives with a 3.5mm audio jack. The connectivity option include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS + GLONASS.

The new handset arrives with a 4950mAh battery capacity that supports 10W charging from a MicroUSB port connector. The Nokia C20 Plus costs 699 yuan ($109) and it is available to order and will go on sale in China from June 16th.

In comparison, the Nokia C20 was launched alongside the Nokia G20 / G10 and Nokia C10. All three come with a 6.5-inch display. The C20 features a sleek Nordic design, and it also lacks a fingerprint reader.

Other features include 5MP rear and front camera lens, a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Unisoc SC9863A processor, 1GB / 2GB RAM in either 16GB / 32GB storage, Android 11 Go Edition, 3000mAh battery, and start at 89 euros ($105).
