HMD Global announces another mid-range Smartphone in less than few weeks, it is the Nokia 5.4 with 6.39-inch display, 48-megapixels quad rear cameras, 16-megapixels selfie and it is powered by a Snapdragon 662 processor and a 4000mAh battery.
The Nokia 5.4 handset comes with a Nordic-inspired durable rear cover design, and it is available in Polar Night and Dusk colors options. There is a dedicated Google Assistant button with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The new device arrives with a 6.39-inch HD+ LCD 2.5D curved glass display with 400 nits typical brightness, 720 pixels screen resolution with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio punch-hole screen. The bezels around the screen are quite minimal.
Inside the punch-hole screen display is a 16-megapixelss front-facing cameras. Around the rear panel is a circular cutout for its quad-camera setup, there is the 48-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel depth and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
The cameras can shoot videos at 60fps, with other features such as OZO spatial audio and wind noise cancellation for videos. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.
Others features includes 160.97 × 75.99 × 8.7mm dimension, weighs 180g, with support for Dual microphones, OZO audio, Qualcomm aptX Adaptive, while some models arrives with NFC payment.
It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 11nm Mobile Platform with Quad 2GHz/1.8GHz Kryo 260, there is Adreno 610 GPU. In order to keep the light on is a 4000mAh battery that draws power from USB Type-C at 10W speeds and promises a 2-day battery life.
The Nokia 5.4 is available in either 4GB / 64GB and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, you can expand any of the memory up to 256GB via a dedicated MicroSD card slot. The device runs on Android 10 OS out of the box, the company promises upgrades up to Android 11 OS.
The Nokia 5.4 base model, 4GB RAM / 64GB internal storage starts at 189 Euros ($229) and will be starting this month in UK and Europe. Other countries will receive the phone later on such as India, North and South America, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
