The new Motorola Razr 5G is Motorola’s newest folding Smartphone, and the successor to the last year’s Razr but with improved and advanced specifications and features.
Like the predecessor’s, the successor comes with unique advanced features, folding screen display, and a few nostalgia attributes. It will be available in Polished Graphite, Liquid Mercury, and Blush Gold color options.
Well, the design looks more like the previous model, but an Octa-Core Snapdragon 765G 7nm EUV Mobile Platform powers up the phone, clocking at 1x 2.4GHz + 1x 2.2GHz + 6x 1.8GHz Kryo 475 CPUs with Adreno 620 GPU.
It sports an 8GB LPPDDR4x RAM, 256GB storage, runs on Android 10, and comes with a 2800mAh battery capacity with 15W TurboPower fast charging via USB Type-C. It promises all-day battery life on a single charge.

Motorola Razr 5G sports a Polished 3D glass with 7000 series aluminum frame, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 body, and a Stainless steel hinge. The company explains that it comes with updated hinge than its predecessor.
The company promises that the newly upgraded hinge offers stunning aesthetic and functional changes, and it has been tested to withstand up to 200,000 flips, and the custom protective coating protects against scratches.
Motorola says this updates are based on direct consumer feedback for an easy, one-handed experience. With the “collected feedback from Razr owners,” the company says that the new model should last up to five years of daily use from even a power user who flips their phone open and shut 100 times a day.
On the inside, there is a 6.2″ HD+ 21:9 Cinemavision foldable pOLED display with 876×2142 resolution, 373 PPI, and on the outside is a 2.7-inch 600×800 pixels SD 4:3 gOLED screen display.
The foldable touchscreen display closes completely in half and unlike the previous generation, the Razr 5G 2020 now works with more default apps on the external screen, such as camera, messages, calculator, Google Keep, Google News, Google Home, and YouTube.
However, the display now has support for gesture navigation, with its navigation bar, you can swipe up to reach the home screen and it is customizable to manually grant permission for any app to do such things on that screen.
It lets you access the full keyboard to reply to messages, access turn-by-turn navigation from Google Maps notifications, access music apps, and there are also customizable apps within the app panel that work well with the Quick View display.
