In Australia, Motorola Moto G50 5G was announced with 5G support and powered by Dimensity 700 processor. This is coming after series of rumors, and the new handset bears a lot of similarities to the Moto G50 (Ibiza) smartphone launched around March.
The Motorola Moto G50 5G isn’t one of those high-end selling smartphones out there, but it comes with preferable specifications. It features a 6.5-inch HD+ 720pixels MaxVision 20:9 aspect ratio display with support for a 90Hz refresh rate.
Moto G50 5G arrives with P2i coating for water resistance, 3.5mm audio jack, single Bottom-ported Speaker with smart PA, and support for dual microphones. The new device is 9.26mm thick and weighs 206g.
It sports a waterdrop notch, which houses a single 13-megapixels selfie camera. While the rear camera altered square mansion hosts a triple camera setup, featuring the main 48-megapixels f/1.7 lens with Quad Pixel technology and LED Flash support.
Accompanying the main shooter is the 2-megapixels macro lens and 2-megapixels depth sensor. There is NFC support and other connectivity option such as 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS/GLONASS.
Instead of the Snapdragon 480 on the Moto G50, Motorola went for the MediaTek Dimensity 700 7nm processor to drive the inside of the Moto G50 5G with Cortex-A76 clocking at 2.2GHz and Cortex-A55 CPUs at 2GHz.
Alongside is the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU support for graphic control, and it is available in 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 1TB through a dedicated microSD card slot.
It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Hybrid Dual SIM, and is available in Meteorite Grey and Green colors. It runs Motorola’s My UX based on Android 11 OS. The Moto G50 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging through USB Type-C.
