Meizu 16T unveiled with Snapdragon 855, 8GB RAM and 4500mAh battery

    Meizu 16T is now official as a notch-less device with 6.5-inch OLED, in-display fingerprint sensor scanner, Snapdragon 855 chipset up to 8GB of RAM and 4500mAh battery capacity.

    The Meizu 16T is the company’s flagship mobile phone handset, and it is quite expensive. The Chinese smartphone maker, Meizu announced the 16T today, at their home town, China.

    Aside from this, the phone comes with everything you might be looking for in a flagship premium mobile phone. It is available in three memory models, and color options.

    Meizu 16T

    Being a notch-less device, the Meizu 16T packs a responsible minimalist bezels at the top of the display, which is slim enough to houses the selfie camera, receiver and other essential sensors.

    Sports an in-display fingerprint sensor scanner, and another small bezels sits at the bottom of the screen display. Available in Lake Light Green, Whale Blue, and Daylight Orange color options.

    It packs a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen 1080 x 2232px, 430 nits of peak brightness, a pixel density of 382ppi, and 1,00,000:1 contrast ratio with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and TÜV-certified for low blue light emissions. The Meizu 16T screen display fits the top-notch trends.

    The Meizu 16T comes with a triple rear camera setup, which consists of the main 12-megapixel primary camera with the Sony IMX362 sensor and f/1.9 aperture, + 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 118-degrees field of view and a 5-megapixel depth camera with an f/1.9 aperture.

    While the front display comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture, which is mounted on the slim bezels. Super Night Scene camera mode is promised via an update.

    The 16T is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, in three variants, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB internal UFS 3.0 storage. Unfortunately, there’s no microSD card slot available

    Arrives with 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou as its network and connectivity features.

    The Meizu 16T runs Android 9 Pie with Flyme OS 7 skin on top, and fueled by a 4500mAh battery capacity with 18W fast mCharge support. Thankfully, you can purchase the phone via Meizu’s official web store in China.

    For pricing, the Meizu 16T 6GB RAM / 128GB storage model costs CNY 1,999 ($280), the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage model goes for CNY 2,199 ($320) and the top-notch model 8GB/256GB variant goes for CNY 2,499 ($350).
