LG V60 ThinQ 5G comes with an upgraded dual screen and 5000mAh

    LG V60 ThinQ 5G has been officially announced as the direct successor to the previous LG V50 ThinQ 5G, which is commonly known as LG V50 ThinQ.

    The new device arrives with an upgraded dual screen, a 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED display, powered by the flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset, a larger 5000mAh battery capacity, and sports an in-display fingerprint sensor scanner.

    With the help of USB Type-C port, you can literally attach an additional LG Dual Screen accessory and enjoy more screen real estate and multitasking.

    Design and Display

    With a newly introduced Dual Screen accessory on the LG V60 ThinQ 5G, you can easily add a second 6.8-inch OLED (2460 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ display along with a 2.05-inch (256x64 pixels) PMOLED Mono cover display to always show key information for easy access at a glance or configure it to time out after 10 seconds.

    As already aforementioned, the phone connects via a USB Type-C, but it takes a huge toll on the large 5000mAh battery capacity to run effectively.

    LG attached a 360 Freestop Hinge to make multitasking, productivity, gaming, and entertainment easy on the screen display panel of the phone.

    The new phone weighs at 214g, metal, and glass body design, Classy Blue and Classy White colors, features an in-display fingerprint sensor, water, and dust resistant (IP68), MIL-STD 810G certified.

    Camera and Performance

    It comes with a 64-megapixels rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, 13-megapixels super-wide camera with f/1.9 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size, 117° lens, Z Camera (ToF Receiver / Emitter).

    While the waterdrop-notch display houses a single 10-megapixels selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture, and support 8K video recording.

    It is powered by the Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, a Snapdragon 865 7nm Mobile Platform with Snapdragon X55 5G Modem, which supports 5G. Coupled with Adreno 650 GPU for impressive graphic display during the gaming session.

    You can find the phone in 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, with either 128GB / 256GB in-built storage, that is either expandable up to 2TB with microSD.

    Big Battery and others

    The device still holds the 3.5mm audio jack port, featuring a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Stereo Speaker, high-end 4Ch microphones, and FM radio.

    LG 3D Sound Engine, an audio processing technology first seen on LG OLED TVs that recognizes the type of content and optimizes the sound accordingly and cinematically.

    It comes with a feature called Voice Bokeh, which separates users’ voices from background noise, allowing content creators to place more focus on the subject while reducing excess noise.

    Under the hood, the phone is fueled by a 5000mAh battery capacity with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ support and runs on Android 10 out of the box. The pricing is yet to be reviewed but you can start seeing the phone in North America, Europe, and Asia starting next month.

    During the launch, the company said “Our strategy is to introduce differentiated 5G devices to meet the rise in consumer demands as the global 5G market matures,” said Morris Lee, president of LG’s Mobile Communication Company. “The LG V60 ThinQ 5G with the Dual Screen is the ideal device for consumers who love to create, consume and share content in the 5G era.”
