LG Folder 2 flip phone For starters, the new LG Folder 2 comes with two displays – the main 2.8″ QVGA primary screen and a secondary 0.9″ monochrome panel to display notifications for texts and calls.

The LG Folder 2 weighs 127, White and New Platinum Grey color options, and sports a 2-megapixels primary camera sensor. It is quite different from Samsung’s taste and design of flip phones out there.

It comes with some smart buttons, there is the SOS Key, which is located on the back lets users call a pre-registered number by pressing it three times quickly within 1.5 seconds. The phone also sends the location information by a text message.

While the Hotkey for AI Voice service is placed above the call button, but the work of these two features depends totally on different carriers, though.

It allows you to summon AI voice service or start the call recording function. It recognizes and replies back when a user asks questions about weather, date, time, and simple calculations.

It supports Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 4G connectivity. LG noted that the data security lock function helps prevent unintentional data charges. At least, we have some definite security within the phone.

Inside of the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot with a 1470mAh battery capacity.

You can easily purchase the phone at KRW198,000 ($160) from the 17th of April when it goes on sale in South Korea. We are still not sure of the international availability tho.
