Of course, before the launch of the iPhone X, Apple has been using LCD display but the iPhone Xr 6.1′ inches LCD display is the biggest for the company. The phone boasts of 1792 x 828 resolution at 326 PPI, and Apple’s True Tone technology.
The bezels are likely little and miniature. The awesome back-light design goes all over the corners of the screen, bringing in a rounded corners and curved design. There is the aluminum frame, which is quite different from the stainless frame on the Xs and Xs Max.
Tap to wake gesture is available, there is the glass design on the back of the device, which supports wireless charge. Comes with improved IP67 Water and dust resistance, which can survive 1 meter up to 30 minute. Offers a single camera sensor at the back. Available in six different colors options – Yellow, White, Coral, Black, Blue and Red.
Camera and Connectivity
The iPhone Xr arrives with single rear camera of 12-megapixels wide-angle camera with ƒ/1.8 aperture, HDR, OIS, and Quad-LED True Tone flash. It can record 4K video recording at 24 fps, 30 fps, or 60 fps and 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps or 60 fps.

Much like the other premium flagship devices, iPhone Xs and Xs Max, the cheaper variants comes with the advanced and faster Face ID for security. Facial recognition is becoming a reality in the current Smartphone markets.
It has a Haptic Touch that helps users instantly launch the camera or flashlight by pressing on the home screen. In addition, the XR supports dual-SIM features through its nano SIM and eSIM capabilities. Supports LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth v5.0 wireless technology and NFC.
Performance and Battery
Apple is also powering the iPhone Xr with the latest A12 Bionic processor, on Apple’s 8-core Neural Engine which is said to be faster than the last generation processor. The handset runs on the company’s latest OS, iOS 12.
The phone arrives in three variants, there is the 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB internal storage but lacks the new 512GB options for other series. As we all know, there is no micro SD card slot for memory expansion.
The battery lasts 1.5 hours longer than last year’s iPhone 8 Plus. Supports Fast‑charge up to 50% charge 30 minutes and there is in-built rechargeable lithium‑ion battery and supports Wireless charging tech. All thanks to the Glass back.
