This is really awkward! Over half of the world’s internet traffic isn’t coming from humans. It is hard to believe but the statistics shows has confirmed it.
Even the Bots, these days, are capable of just about any repetitive online process humans are, and much like humans, they’re a mixed bag. We are know that, every thing has both bad and good side. Merit and Dis-merits.
Internet traffic is the flow of data across the Internet. Because of the distributed nature of the Internet, there is no single point of measurement for total Internet traffic.
Source from Imperva says, more than half of all internet traffic now comes from bots — software applications designed to do everything which includes posting messages on Twitter to crawling the web to deliver better search results.
But one thing about this information and concerning the bots is that good bots (are those designed to monitor or enhance our web browsing experience) continues to grow rapidly while the wrong or bad ones continues to go doww every minutes, day and year.
Meanwhile, the Bad bots, are those used to steal content, overwhelm web servers, or steal analytic information from insecure partners. They also cost businesses an estimated $7 billion in revenue annually due to ad fraud.
Right now, the sources says that bad bots outnumber good bots now. So lets continue to look into the future, maybe or maybe not, everything might change sooner or later. Bad bots might reduced or converted to Good bots in no time. Lets just hope so.
