With an intriguing 180W Thunder Charge technology, Infinix unveils its latest Smartphone, this is the Infinix Zero Ultra. The company launched the smartphone with an “Innovative Textured Glass & Star Trail Design” and in two distinctive color variants: Coslight Silver and Genesis Noir.
There’s something spectacular about the Coslight Silver color option: it features embossed 3D textured glass that depicts dreamy star trails, creating space and rhythm, hearing the cosmic romance by the tension of life. It measures 8.76mm.
On the other hand, the company also boasts that the Genesis Noir color variant has an integrated design of geometry, leather, and glass, pure and simple. The golden ratio creates a song of ice and fire in the night sweep. It measures 9.16mm. Both weigh 231g.

On the front of the Infinix Zero Ultra is a tall 3D curved 6.8-inch 1080 pixels Full HD+ AMOLED screen with up to 1000 nits brightness, which boasts of 120Hz refresh rate, which creates a magnifying smooth screen display alongside 360Hz touch sampling rate.
The Infinix Zero Ultra screen display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. As expected, Infinix brought the biometric sensor to the front of the display, featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor. At the top of the display is a 32-megapixel selfie with dual LED flash support.
Around the back is a triple-camera sensor, featuring a large lens, which is a 200-megapixel with a 1/1.22″ sensor, and comes with Optical Image Stabilization support, OIS, Auto Focus Double Super PD, accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor with dual LED flash.
It comes with support for 4K 30fps video recording. There’s Dual SIM, and connectivity features include 5G SA/ NSA with up to 12 bands, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou. It also comes with USB Type-C audio and Stereo speakers.
Powering up the machine of the Infinix Zero Ultra is the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, it’s a 6nm processor featuring an Octa-Core including 2x 2.5GHz Cortex-A78 and 6x 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.
The Infinix Zero Ultra arrives in a single variant, there’s the 8GB RAM with 5GB of RAM with RAM expansion, and 256GB internal storage alongside space for memory expansions for more files such as applications, music, movies, photos, annotations, and much more.
It runs Android 12 with XOS 12, and the company promises 2 years of security updates and 1 Android update for the phone. The Infinix Zero Ultra is actually the company’s latest top-end smartphone in the Zero series and it is definitely making it a well-announced Smartphone.

Let’s start with the fact that the company said that the ULTRA 8C cell battery reduces heat and increases the lifetime of the device, and also introduces GaN technology which allows the 180W Thunder Charge to be resistant to a variety of environments with high temperatures.
Infinix says that the phone is equipped with 111 software and hardware security protection mechanisms made to protect smartphones, chargers, and charging cables. There’s the Furious Mode that offers extra quick charge, which enables a faster-charging speed at a higher phone temperature when compared to the Standard Mode.
Also within the Zero Ultra are 20 different types of temperature detections that guard both the phone and the charging cable. These sensors are distributed throughout the USB inputs, charging chips, on the battery, and within other locations inside the device.
The Infinix Zero Ultra price is Rs. 29,999 in India, but due to the high costs of shipping, exchange rates, and much more in Nigeria, the phone should be ringing close to N400,000 to N500,000 in Nigerian currency.
