Infinix S5 PRO rumors to feature pop-up selfie camera and in-display fingerprint sensor

We officially welcome all the Infinix phone lovers to 2020, as we have the first hand leaked images and specifications of the company’s first phone in 2020 – Infinix S5 PRO with a pop-up selfie snapper!

The Infinix S5 PRO is the company’s next upcoming Smartphone, and the images, specifications, features, and details have been leaked, especially the pop-up selfie mechanism.

Anyways, the most distinguish specs of the phone are the pop-up mechanism and the in-display fingerprint sensor. Which makes the phone a notch-less device, while other features remain expected and the same.

If these rumors are true, we might be looking at the company’s first phone with pop-up selfie snapper. Although, Tecno announced the Phantom 9 with a pop-up mechanism.

The above-leaked specification says pretty much everything, from the display to the battery capacity. And it isn’t much different from the Infinix S5 and Infinix S5 Lite.

We might not be sure about the design, but we should be seeing more than the 90.5% screen-to-body ratio on the S5, and slimmer bezels around the display.

Although the S5 and S5 Lite features a QUAD and triple rear camera setup, the Infinix S5 PRO packs a triple rear camera setup, consisting of 16-megapixels + 5-megapixels + 2-megapixels with LED Flash.

We might be seeing an AI QUAD rear camera setup because of the Infinix S5 with QUAD rear camera. Let’s just debunked the news of the triple rear camera setup.

Meanwhile, the selfie snapper 32-megapixels will remain the same, although it is now shifted to the pop-up mechanism. Thankfully, we should be expecting the AI-capabilities on both front and back cameras.

Fortunately, we might see a new processor, either falls in-between Mediatek Helio P65 or P35 processor coupled with 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot and runs on Android 9 Pie.

But it doesn’t seem right since the Infinix S5 arrived with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, we should be expecting the PRO version with either the same 6GB or more with 64GB or more too.

When the company announced the Infinix S5, it online users complained a great deal about using the same processor – Mediatek Helio P22 chipset on their devices, it wouldn’t be too good to see history repeating itself.

Once more, we might still see the micro USB port again again and again. Even the recent Gionee M11 arrived with USB Type-C, we expect Infinix to change the game of charging port!

For the biometric sensors, the Infinix S5 PRO might arrive with an in-display fingerprint sensor scanner, instead of the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the Infinix S5 and Infinix S5 Lite.

The Infinix S5 PRO is the third man in the S5 Family lineup, which is still initiated with the 4000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery capacity with AI smart Power management.

For pricing, recall that the prices for the Infinix S5 and Infinix S5 Lite are:
    – S5 Lite (128GB+6GB) = N62500
    – S5 (64GB+6GB) = N53000
    – S5 lite (64Gb+4GB) = N46500
    – S5 lite (32GB+3GB) = N42500

We are expecting the Infinix S5 PRO to costs around N60,000 – N70,000 and might launch in the second half of this month, February. Stay tuned, and remember, this is just phone rumors.
