Infinix Mobility officially announces the Note 12 Pro 4G powered by MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. It’s the latest smartphone in the company’s vast Note 12 series and is also available in two colors option – Blue and Grey variant.
The Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G bears more similarities to the Note 12 Pro 4G, however, there are slight differences between them. The 5G model utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, while the 4G swims around Helio G99, and there are more hardware features within the likes.
Identical to the 5G, the Note 12 Pro 4G sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that operates at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels with 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage and an alleged 100,000:1 contrast ratio. It brings a top-notch that houses a 16-megapixels sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
Around the back panel is a large circular chunk on a plated panel featuring a triple camera lens a primary f/1.8 108-megapixels sensor with 1.92µm, 1/1.67″ alongside two 2-megapixels supplementary depth cameras.
Powering the Note 12 Pro 4G is a Helio G99, it’s a MediaTek processor that has two ARM Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.2 GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores restricted to 2 GHz, and a Mali-G57 GPU. Infinix pre-installs XOS 10.6, its in-house version of Android 12.
The Helio G99 is a 6nm manufacturing process that should allow it to reduce power consumption by 10% relative to the Helio G96. The Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It boasts up to 5GB of extended RAM, which totals up to 13GB.
It arrives with a dual loudspeaker setup, slightly thinner at 7.8mm, NFC support, two nano SIM slots and a microSD one, as well as a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It is fueled by a 5000mAh battery capacity with 33W charging support. The Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G goes for $229.90, which is around NGN97,000 Nigerian Naira.
