The Infinix Note 12 5G and Note 12 Pro 5G are official in India with 50MP and 108MP sensor

One of the best Smartphone brands, Infinix launches its latest successor to its flagship series in two amusing colors – Infinix Note 12 5G and Note 12 Pro 5G in Force Black and Force White colors. Both phones arrive with spectacular specs sheets.

These mobile phones arrive with a slightly curved 6.7-inch 1080p Full HD+ AMOLED screen with up to 700 nits of peak brightness, 100% DCI P3 color gamut, and sports a 92% screen-to-body ratio alongside Widevine L1 certification.

Unfortunately, both phones arrive with a quaint 60Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 108% NTSC and 100% DCI P3 color gamut, and it also supports Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner support.

Both phones arrive with a triple rear camera sensor, whereas the Infinix Note 12 5G features a 50-megapixels main camera with a 2-megapixels depth unit and an “AI Lens.” and similar to the Pro, it brings support for quad-LED flash.

While the Note 12 Pro 5G brings a 108-megapixels sensor, and dual 2-megapixels depth and macro units. Inside the front notch, is a single selfie snapper, 16-megapixels lens with f/2.0 sensor with dual LED flash support.

Infinix Note 12 5G and Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G are completely powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, alongside MediaTek DarLink 2.0 technology that further enhances the gaming interaction and display experience and runs Android 12-based XOS 10.6.

Aside from the similarities, both phones arrive in different models – The Note 12 5G sports 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the Note 12 Pro 5G version comes with 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. Both have dedicated microSD card slots for storage expansion up to 2TB.

These phones also come with 3GB and 5GB of virtual RAM on the vanilla and Pro options. There are stereo speakers with DTS Surround sound, and the back panel features an anti-glare matte finish back panel with a side flat frame and a mix of mirrors in the camera panel.

Both feature a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, and 7.98mm thickness and the Note 12 5G weighs 186g while the Pro weighs 188g. The connectivity include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, and GPS and features a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging with a USB Type-C connector.

Before the official launch of the Infinix Note 12 5G and Note 12 Pro 5G, the company has already announced the Infinix Note 12 series, which had four Smartphones – Note 12, Note 12 G96, Note 12i, and Note 12 VIP

The Infinix Note 12 5G and Note 12 Pro 5G are priced at INR14,999 ($189/€187), and INR17,999 ($227/€224), and will officially go on sale on Flipkart on July 14th and July 15th, respectively. In Nigeria, we’re not sure about the pricing but will definitely know in the coming weeks.
