Infinix HOT 9 and HOT 9 Play announced for Africa and Asia market. Both phones run on Android 10 OS, 8-megapixels front-facing camera and Smart power saver battery lab that enhances the battery life.

Officially, HOT 9 was launched in Asian markets such as Indonesia, while Bangladesh with only HOT9 Play and Thailand market has both HOT9 and HOT9 Play.

But the company has recently introduced the HOT 9 and HOT 9 PRO in India only. However, Infinix has introduced the HOT9 and the Play variant inside Africa countries such as Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Burkina Faso, Guinea, and others.

The phone packs a 6.6-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display that offers HD+ resolution, with what the company is calling unique gem cut texture design, in Quetzal Cyan, Midnight Black, Violet and Ocean wave color options.

It arrives with a QUAD rear camera setup, which includes the 16MP with f/1.8 aperture, triple LED Flash, 2-megapixels macro lens, 2-megapixels depth sensor, and Low-light AI camera. Along with an 8-megapixels selfie snapper.

Connectivity includes dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro USB port. It supports DTS Audio Technology, Face ID, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor scanner.

Inside the phone is the 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P22 12nm processor octa-core SoC, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.

And a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support, that can last up to 4days, and 20% from earlier HOT series generation phones. Along with Battery Lab Smart Power Save, which the company confirmed can improve the overall standby time by approximately over 10%.

While the back includes the 13-megapixels and AI lens camera with triple rear flash. You can find the phone in Quetzal Cyan, Midnight Black, Violet, and Ocean wave color options. It packs both a fingerprint sensor and Face ID.

Inside the handset is an unknown Octa-core MediaTek processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot, Android 10 OS, and 6000mAh battery with Smart Power Saver Battery Lab.

The Infinix HOT 9 is priced at around $100 and above. While the HOT 9 Play pricing is yet unknown, but will still be around that price range. Anyways, the availability of these two phones is not known.
