The Huawei Y6 2019 is now officially launched, and it is arrives with Helio A22 SoC chipset, a 6.09-inch waterdrop display, 2GB of RAM and runs on Android 9 Pie OS.
Huawei Y6 2019 was recently launched, and it stands as the 2019 successor to the Huawei Y6 (2018) Android Smartphone with almost similar specification and features.
However, the Huawei Y6 2019 is an entry-level Smartphone to the Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 that was officially unveiled Philippines.

Design and Display
The Huawei Y6 2019 comes with a water-drop notch display, and there is a model that comes with stitched leather design on the rear panel.
It packs a 6.09-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) display with a dewdrop notch. Which boasts of 87% of screen-to-body ratio. Therefore, reducing the bezels and borders surrounding the display.
For reducing blue light exposure on the Y6 2019, the company, Huawei used a TÜV Rheinland certified panel. Which is among the top features of the Smartphone.
And it is available in three colors options, the Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colour options arrives with a spotless polished rear panel.
While on the other hand, the Amber Brown model arrives with a faux leather rear panel. And there is a fingerprint sensor scanner on all the models, with single camera lens on the front and back.
Camera and Connectivity
For the optics of the phone, the Huawei Y6 2019 arrives with a single camera lens on the front, and another single camera lens at the back.
The back camera is a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. Which takes cool cameras, and also has other camera features.
While the water-drop notch display, or the dew-drop notch display arrives with an 8-megapixel camera with Face Unlock supported and Selfie Toning Flash 2.0 for capturing brighter selfies.
It packs a handful of the regular and normal network and connectivity features, such as the 4G LTE, GPS, Glonass, BDS, Bluetooth, Micro USB, Wi-Fi Direct, and Wi-Fi Hot Spot.
Performance and Battery
The phone is completely powered by a Quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 (MTK MT6761) SoC and runs on the company’s EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9 Pie OS out of the box.
Software aspect, the phone is available in a single variant, which is the 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, but it is expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card slot.
And it packs other phone features, which includes Huawei SuperSound technology that claims to produce an additional 6dB of sound with a more pronounced bass effect.
There is the Party mode, Histen 5.0, and built-in FM radio. Another is the native Phone Manager tool, that will help boost the system speed and provide a smoother user experience.
The Huawei Y6 (2019) is completely powered by 3,020mAh battery capacity and it is supported by a Huawei’s proprietary battery optimization tool to manage power consumption.
Until the date of publishing this article, the company has not released the official pricing and availability of the Smartphone.
