During the nova 6 series launch, the company also unveiled the Huawei Watch GT2 in India. It comes with a circular AMOLED display, Kirin A1 chip, and supports 2 weeks, (14days) of battery life on a single charge.
Huawei just announced the nova 6 series, which includes the nova 6, nova 6 5G, and nova 6 SE. It packs a 1.2-inch (390 x 390 pixels) and 1.39-inch (454 x 454 pixels) with Super AMOLED touch 3D glass screen display.
It also supports Bluetooth calling, thanks to microphone and speakers, in-device music and capacity to store and play 500 songs. It is rated 5ATM water-resistant up to 50 meters.
Watch GT2 is facilitated with HUAWEI’s Kirin A1 chip, which is the company’s chipset that integrates an advanced Bluetooth processing unit, a powerful audio processing unit, an ultra-low power consumption application processor and a separate power management unit.
It supports Bluetooth 5.1 that connects to Android 4.4 and above iOS 9.0 devices, GPS and comes with Accelerometer sensor, Gyroscope sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, Optical heart rate sensor, Ambient light sensor, Air pressure sensor, and Capacitive sensor.
The heart rate monitor tracking comes with TruSeen 3.5, sleep monitoring, HUAWEI TruRelax, and all-day activity tracking.
In order to make the heart rate monitoring active, the user will be notified if the heart rate is above 100bpm or below 50bpm for more than 10 minutes.
The Huawei Watch GT2 is compatible with 15 sports mode, which includes outdoor sports, such as running, walking, climbing, hiking trail running, cycling, open water, triathlon.
And indoor sports mode such as walking, running, cycling, swimming pool, free training, elliptical machine, rowing machine. The watch is also powered with a sleep monitoring function.
Under the hood, it comes with 455mAh battery capacity, which supports up to 14 days of battery life. Where the 46mm Sport comes in Black color, Leather version, and 46mm Metal version.
The starting price is Rs. 14990 ($210) for the Watch GT2 42 mm variant and Rs. 15,990 ($224) for the 46mm Sport Black. You can purchase any of the watches from either Flipkart, Amazon, Croma and other leading retail stores.
