In its hometown, China, HUAWEI announces the Nova 7 5G, Nova 7 Pro 5G, and Nova 7 SE 5G smartphones with a 6.5-inch FHD+ screen display, Android 10, 64MP main cameras, and 4000mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge fast charging support.
The new phones are now official, following series of speculations, rumors, and weeks of leaks. HUAWEI officially wraps off its nova 7 series – the nova 7 Pro, Nova 7, and nova 7 SE.
Well, the screen size, OS, main camera of the QUAD camera setup, 5G, and battery bring these phones together. While the nova 7 and nova 7 PRO are mainly identically with each other.

HUAWEI nova 7 SE
It is definitely unlike the others with a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide shooter and 2MP macro snapper and a 2MP depth helper. There is the punch hole cutout for the 16MP selfie camera.
The nova 7 SE carries a 6.5-inch LCD screen display, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Kirin 820 5G chipset, 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage with a 4000mAh battery capacity that offers 40W fast wired charging.
Fortunately, there is the 3.5mm audio jack, available in black, purple, green, and silver colors options. The 8GB/128GB goes for CNY 2,400 ($340), while the 8GB/256GB costs CNY 2,800 ($395). It will start hitting on stores from April 28, but the device is already up for pre-order.
HUAWEI Nova 7 5G
And there is the Nova 7 5G in black, purple, green, red, and silver color options, where the 8GB/128GB goes for CNY 3,000 ($425), and the 8GB/256GB version costs CNY 3,400 ($480). April 28 is the selling date.
It packs a 6.53-inch 1080 pixels FHD+ OLED 20:9 aspect ratio display and a punch-hole that houses the single 32-megapixels selfie camera with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
While the rear cameras consist of the main 64-megapixel camera with OIS, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, 8-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and the 2-megapixel macro sensor.
Inside the phone is the Kirin 985 5G processor with ARM Mali-G77 GPU, 8GB RAM with 128GB / 256GB storage, and runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 out of the box.
It weighs 180g, measures 7.96mm, and comes with GPS, NFC, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity. The 4000mAh battery keeps the phone light on, as it supports 40W fast wired fast charging that powers via the USB Type-C.
HUAWEI nova 7 PRO 5G
And here is the top-tier of the three Smartphones, the nova 7 PRO 5G. The brain the phone is still the Kirin 985 5G chips with ARM Mali-G77 GPU, 8GB RAM with 128GB / 256GB storage and runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 out of the box.
It packs a 6.57-inch 1080 pixels FHD+ OLED curved 19.5:9 aspect ratio display, under-screen fingerprint sensor, weighs 176g, and available in black, purple, green, red and silver colors option.
Unlike the other two, the nova 7 PRO 5G comes with a double punch-hole camera cutout that carries the 32-megapixels front camera and 8-megapixels 105° ultra-wide sensor.
Around the back are the 64-megapixels main camera, 8-megapixels ultra-wide camera, 8-megapixels periscope camera with OIS, 5x optical zoom, 10x Hybrid Zoom, 50x digital zoom, and 2-megapixels macro camera sensor.
The nova 7 PRO 5G 8GB/128GB costs CNY 3,700($522), and CNY 4,100 ($580) for the 8GB/256GB model. Which is $100 cheaper than the basic variants of nova 7.
