Chinese-based tablet manufacturer, HUAWEI announces its new tablet – HUAWEI MatePad Pro 11 and it runs HarmonyOS 2, which brings more advanced features.
The MatePad Pro 11 is coming right after the company recently announced the MatePad Pro 12.6 and MatePad Pro 10.8 (2021) last month.
Well, the Pro 11 comes in-between these last month Huawei’s MatePad, it is a 10.95-inch (2560 x 1600) WQXGA 16:10 2.5D curved glass display.
The panel arrives with support for a 120Hz refresh rate, which allows faster smooth scrolling and positions the MatePad Pro 11 as a premium productivity tablet.
During the announcement, the company said the HarmonyOS 2 comes with support for more widgets, folders and information boxes, using Super Service Widgets.
Also went ahead to say, you can pair it with a mouse and keyboard, edit videos on the go, and much more for a PC-like experience for the most extreme of tasks.
The company plastered two front/rear cameras, which plainly explains the fact that the MatePad Pro 11 is simply a tablet and not a phone.
You get a 13-megapixels autofocus sensor with an f/1.8 lens on the rear panel and an 8-megapixels front-facing camera with an f/2.0 lens.
It is a top-end tablet, and yes, it does come with support for second-generation M-Pencel stylus with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and 2ms delay.
The MatePad Pro 11 is powered by the 2019 Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 650 GPU for improved gaming graphics.
It is available in a single 6GB LPDDR4x RAM in three memory configuration, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage, and any of the three support expansion up to 1TB with microSD.
The tablet measures 7.25mm, weighs 485g and comes in Island Blue, Dark Lime and Frosty Silver color options. It comes with 4 speakers, and 4 microphones.
It also sports HUAWEI Histen 7.0 Sound Effect and the connectivity option includes Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1 LE, GPS / GLONASS / BeiDou / GALILEO / QZSS.
The MatePad Pro 11 arrives with a big 7250mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging through a USB Type-C connector. A full charge can probably last up to 2-3days.

MatePad Pro 11 6GB + 64GB costs 2,499 yuan ($385 USD), 6GB + 128GB option goes for 2,799 yuan ($432 USD) and 3,299 yuan ($509 USD) for the 6GB + 256GB option.
However, the new tablet with HarmonyOS 2 was official in China, and it is not the first tablet with HarmonyOS 2. Although, it is now available to order in China.
