HUAWEI MatePad announced with a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ display, Android 10, dual 8MP front and back cameras, powered by Kirin 810 7nm, up to 6GB RAM, M-Pencil, and a 7250mAh battery.
During the HUAWEI Nova 7 series smartphones online announcement, the Chinese company launched the new 10.4-inch HUAWEI MatePad with M-Pencil support. You can find the TAB in three different models.

Notably, the new HUAWEI MatePad is a toned-down version of the MatePad Pro, which was officially announced last November in China with Kirin 990, and identical to the iPad Pro tablet.
It arrives with a 10.4″ 2,000 x 1,200 pixel IPS display, available in Black and White colors option, 8-megapixels rear camera with autofocus, and another 8-megapixels selfie fixed focus camera.
HUAWEI MatePad is a metallic tablet weighs 450 grams, measures 7.35mm, and comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, USB 2.0 Type-C connectivity. HUAWEI recently introduces the MatePad PRO 5G variant.
Despite its souped-down tech specs, the new MatePad still support HUAWEI M-Pencil for Graffiti painting, document processing, class notes. However, the M-Pencil is sold differently from the MatePad itself.
Inside the phone is the HUAWEI Kirin 810 chipset with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model, which can be expanded up to 512GB with microSD.
It packs a 7250mAh battery with 18W fast charging via Type-C port and runs on EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10. And packs a four large Harman Kardon-tuned speakers and an array of four microphones. With multimedia boosting experience that facilitates virtual learning and classrooms.
Fortunately, it is now available for order and will go on sale in China from April 26th. As the prices of the MatePad starts from:
4GB RAM with 64GB Wi-Fi – 1899 yuan ($268)
6GB RAM with 128GB Wi-Fi – 2199 yuan ($311) and the
6GB RAM with 128GB LTE version goes for 2499 yuan ($352).
