Huawei Enjoy 9 launched with a small notch, 3GB RAM, and 4000mAh battery

    Huawei Enjoy 9 has also been launched in China and open for pre-order! The mobile phone comes with a water-drop notch display, and a 3D illusion design at the back.

    Which is unlike the Enjoy Max with leather-design at the back. Anyways, the Huawei Enjoy 9 is a little bit similar to the Honor 8X, and will also be known as Huawei Y9 (2019) in other markets.

    The display and battery isn’t as large as the Enjoy Max and it lacks the traditional back fingerprint sensor. Huawei Enjoy 9 is powered by the Snapdragon 450 SoC.

    Design and Display

    The Huawei Enjoy 9 Smartphone comes with a waterdrop-shaped notch in the front, and there is the unique impeccable design with shiny and flashy design.

    For the screen display, the Enjoy 9 features a moderate 6.26-inch HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) LCD IPS display, and it lacks the fingerprint sensor.

    It is available in different amazing four color options including Black, and three gradient colour options as well – Blue, Red and Purple. The phone weighs 168 grams.

    Camera and connectivity

    The Huawei Enjoy 9 arrives with dual camera setup at the back, and a single front facing camera. The optics of the phone is similar with other mid-range phones.

    At the back, there is the 13-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture and another 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

    While for the front facing camera, the handset comes with 8-megapixel selfie sensor with f/2.0 aperture, it is incorporated in the water-drop notch display.

    There are network and connectivity features, which includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and 3.5mm audio jack.

    Performance and Battery

    The Huawei Enjoy 9 Android Smartphone runs on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, and it is powered by the Snapdragon 450 Octa-core processor.

    Coupled with 3GB of RAM, which is a little bit smaller and watered down than the Enjoy 9 Plus. However, it still provided easier and faster seamless performance.

    The phone comes with 32GB internal storage, which is expandable storage up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. You can store more files, documents and many more.

    There is no word on pricing, but the phone will go on sale in China on 12 of December. It arrives with face unlock, as its only biometric feature.
