Honor X9 5G, Honor X7, and Honor X9 4G officially announced

During its new product launch event in Malaysia, Honor unveils a new wide range of devices and gadgets such as Smartphones, Laptop including the Honor X7, X7 4G, and X9 5G. The Honor X9 5G is the company’s new Smartphone in its X-series.

The Honor X9 5G brings a 6.81-inch Full HD+ display with a 19.9:9 aspect ratio, and support for a 120Hz refresh rate that brings a smooth screen display with 16.7 million colors. It features an 8.05mm sleek design and comes in three colors – Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue, and Midnight Black.

It brings a triple rear camera setup, featuring a primary 48-megapixels f/1.8, and is supported by a dual 2-megapixels f/2.4 sensor for depth and macro shots. The hole-punch houses a single 16-megapixels f/2.45 sensor, and the camera supports 1080p video shooting.

The Honor X9 Pro arrives with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type C audio, NFC support, and the connectivity include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and brings support for GPS.

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor with Adreno 619 GPU for a better graphic processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM with 2GB of additional RAM Turbo RAM expansion feature and runs Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11.

The Honor X9 Pro packs a 4800mAh battery with 66W Honor SuperCharge support through a USB Type-C connector. The Honor X9 5G costs RM 1299 ($308) for the single 8GB RAM / 128GB storage version, and it is available to order and will go on sale in Malaysia from April 7th.

It brings a 6.74″ 720pixels HD+ display with a 19.9:9 aspect ratio, 16.7 million colors, and 90Hz LCD screen display. It comes with a QUAD-rear camera setup, 48-megapixels f/1.8 lens, 5-megapixels f/2.2 ultrawide sensor, and dual 2-megapixels f/2.4 sensor for depth and macro sensor,

The Honor X7 arrives with an 8-megapixels f/2.0 lens, and the cameras support 1080p video shooting. It brings a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, it is 8.62mm thick and weighs 198g. It brings a 3.5mm earphone jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1 support.

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 6nm processor with Adreno 610 GPU, features 4GB RAM with an additional 2GB virtual RAM, and 128GB storage. It runs Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.

The Honor X7 features a 5000mAh battery with support for 22.5W HONOR SuperCharge fast charging through USB Type-C that promises 3 hours of video playback with a 10-minute charge.

The HONOR X7 is priced at RM 699 ($165) and will be available from April 14th, and similar to the Honor X9 4G, it’ll be available starting from April 14 on the company website, as well as Lazada and Shopee.

There is also an Honor X9 4G model priced at RM 1099 ($260) which will also be available from April 14th, featuring the same Snapdragon 680 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and comes in Black, Blue, and Silver colors options.

Aside from the 64-megapixels camera, and 90Hz refresh rate on the screen, every other specification is similar to the 5G model. It is also accompanied by an 8-megapixels ultrawide camera and two 2-megapixels auxiliary shooters in its circular design.
