Google is removing 100 bad ads every seconds

Violations of policy is a serious offense in any organization and Search engine Giant, Google is currently targeting any user who frequently fail to comprehend with their policies or T&C.

Today, Google says, they are removing 100 bad ads every seconds. Anyways, Google says, they will soon implement a programme, that’ll act as a verification tool to blush out bad actors from its platform.

With the introduction of this programme, it will ensure that only legitimate providers of third-party tech support can use its platform to reach consumers. Google is taking an immediate and strict actions that will validate scammers who were purchasing search ads and impersonate as authorised service agents for big tech companies such as Apple.

Director at Global Product Policy at Google, David Graff, said “Just last year alone, we took down more than 3.2 billion ads that violated our advertising policies – that’s more than 100 bad ads per second,”

He also added “We’re taking another step. We’ve seen a rise in misleading ad experiences stemming from third-party technical support providers and have decided to begin restricting ads in this category globally,”.

Google also said “One of our top priorities is to maintain a healthy advertising ecosystem, and that means protecting people from misleading, inappropriate and harmful ads,”

“The ads would display a link to Apple’s website, but the number in the ad would direct to a call center that engages in tech-support scams.”

Google might be removing 100 of ads every seconds, but Apple is still facing the app violation regulations in China. Having removed over 2500 apps from its store in China.
