Google One wants you to store more in its cloud storage with cheap plans

This is Google One, and it is now available to everyone on the internet. Google’s cloud storage will be rebranding with improved and advanced cloud storage pricing plans, 24/7 technical support, which will be available even to non-premium subscribers.

Google’s drive storage plans will change the way you save your stuffs. Henceforth, customers will be able to have more options and more storage but at lower prices. This new change, is the service’s first price cut in four years.

The new service aims scarcely aims at business, but more at customers and urging them to store more. Google slowly rolls existing Drive subscribers over to a Google One membership, meanwhile, new users can now sign up for a One subscription.

Google One subscribers will also enjoy other benefits, such as 24/7 technical support in eligible regions, Google Play credits, and deals on select hotels found in Google Search. Before the upgrade, users will receive a confirmation email where they will be able to manage their storage plan and benefits.

The new service plans start at $1.99 per month for 100GB of additional storage. Google is introducing a new 200GB plan that costs $2.99 a month, while the existing $9.99 plan is being upgraded to include not 1TB, but 2TB of cloud storage. Below is the list of the plans:

Anyways, you can subscribe to the new cloud storage, by logging into Google Drive and click on Storage, then click on upgrade Storage, there, you’ll will see all the possible upgrades.

Another amazing feature, is that you can now share your storage allotment with up to five family members. For now, Google One is only available in the U.S., but it’ll roll out to more countries soon.
