You can now download Google Lens app on Playstore

A welcoming news; but doesn’t work on all devices

Finally, users are now allowed to download Google lens app on Google Playstore as a standalone app. Sounds great and it is a welcoming development. Google recently launched the app exclusively to its playstore.

At first, it was made available exclusively on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL devices via Google Assistant.

The Google Lens was created by the Tech Giant May, last year and it functionality is definitely awesome and intriguing, it allows users to identify objects and locations in an image by the use of artificial intelligence.

Once a user launches the app, it brings you to a viewfinder and when you any capture mages such as of clothes, books, and buildings, it then uses AI to deliver the necessary information about that captured images.

But unfortunately, it doesn’t work on every Android smartphones. For example, it works perfectly on Note 8 but not on Galaxy S8 Plus. But that doesn’t mean, you can’t access it via third-party website.

The app works perfectly for Android phones running Marshmallow 6.0 OS and above. It doesn’t have any new stuff to offer anyways.
