Fitbit Charge 5 is the successor to the Charge 4, and in comparison, the successor is quite thinner, it features a sleek aerodynamic design that is 10% thinner. It arrives with a display panel that is two times brighter also.

It arrives with 20 exercise modes, automatic exercise recognition, and an estimate of your V02 max. However, there is a premium plan that allows full access to more than 200 workouts from certified trainers and popular brands like Daily Burn, barre3, obé and new high-energy workouts from LES MILLS.
The Fitbit Charge 5 comes with personalized heart rate features, you can easily track your heart rate 24/7, and it also provides notifications when you are above or below your personal ranges.
There is an option to choose from 20 colorful clock faces to customize what information you want to see most. There are contactless payments, the option to receive/send notifications from/to your smartphone, and quick replies, which are only available to Android.
It sports a sleep tools feature and deeper analysis which the company claims to improve your sleep quality with some guidance for premium users. These are daily Sleep Scores, Sleep Stages, and SmartWake alarms.
Fitbit Charge 5 provides a holistic view of other key wellness metrics via the Health Metrics dashboard in the Fitbit app, including breathing rate, skin temperature variation and SpO2. While premium users can track long-term trends and personal ranges.

The Fitbit Charge 5 costs $179.95 (NGN74,50 Nigerian Naira approx.) / €179.95 in Europe / AU$ 269.95 in Australia. The company is also offering a six-month Premium membership (for new or returning customers).
