Blackberry will be taking their device a little bit higher, the company officially unveils two different Android powered Smartphone, there is the Blackberry Evolve and Evolve X!
In order to have a successful launch in India, BlackBerry has teamed up with Optiemus, its Indian manufacturing partner, to produce the new Evolve line of smartphones. Lets take a look at the specs of the new Blackberry Evolve series.

Design and Display
The Blackberry Evolve and Evolve X is among the best Android Smartphone to arrive in 2018. There are the company first devices from the Evolve series, firsts for the brand and are quite stunning. The phone comes with a realistic display.
It is not the first time for Blackberry, but the Evolve and Evolve X refuses to come with any physical keyboard, like the normal Qwerty types. The both phones comes with almost the same design and display.
There is the 5.99-inch FHD+ (2160×1080) 18:9 panel and also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5, while the LTPS display has a maximum brightness of 500nits and oleophobic coating. The Blackberry Evolve X is much more bigger in view than the Evolve.
They comes with a textured back design, but the Evolve X is more premium than the other. Meanwhile, we have the dual cameras, Fingerprint sensor scanner, wireless charging, and a blackberry logo at the bottom display of the device.
Camera and Connectivity
It might not be the all new flagship device, but the dual camera on the both phones are aesthetic purposes. The Blackberry Evolve comes with a dual 13-megapixels on the back, alongside a flashlights, and it offers a RGB + monochrome sensor.
But the Blackberry Evolve X is offering something more spectacular, it comes with a dual rear camera of 12MP (f/1.8, 1.4um) + 13MP (f/2.6, 1.0um), for PDAF, LED flash, 4K video recording. And also enhanced with dual flashlight.
While on the front, it comes with a 16-megapixels f/2.0 aperture, for taking stunning and bright selfies for your social media accounts. But it also doubles as the Face ID Unlock, which the company says, it will take up to 0.4 seconds to unlock the phone.
Comes with the normal network and connectivity, LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS.
Performance and Battery
They might come with almost the same specs, features such as screen display, selfie snapper, battery but the processor performance is quite different from each other.
Both comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon but the Blackberry Evolve is powered by a Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, of Eight Cortex A53 cores up to 1.8GHz processor, alongside with a Adreno 506 for graphic processor performance. Comes with a 4GB RAM for smooth multitasking, 64GB internal storage.
While on the other hand, the Evolve X is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 at 4×2.2GHz Kryo 260 + 4×1.8GHz Kryo 260, a Adreno 512 GPU for graphic processor performance, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage. But the Evolve X will last much longer due to the Snapdragon 660 for better battery optimization.
Everything on the both phones is powered by a 4000mAh battery capacity, supports Quick Charge 3.0 (USB-C) and a Wireless charging. Which is quite amazing for a mid-ranger.
The DTEK by BlackBerry suite is installed out of the box on both phones, along with BlackBerry Hub and a battery-saver mode that lets you select custom power profiles. Both phones run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
Price of the Blackberry Evolve and Evolve X
At the end of August, the Evolve will be available exclusively through Amazon India, and the price is around $365. During the mid-September, you can add more money for the Blackberry Evolve X for $510.
And there is also other RAM variants also, but it requires few other currency. Blackberry are bringing better security to their Smartphones, the Evolve and Evolve X are the latest from few.
