Design and Display
The Taiwanese computing giant, ASUS announced their latest flagship handset on Thursday at a press event in Spain, which is the ZenFone 6. And it is the direct successor to the company’s last year’s flagship ZenFone 5Z.
It arrives with stereo speakers (top and bottom), and a notification LED light. The back is built from a 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and features 6000-series aluminum frame.
It looks and sounds premium, all thanks to the flagship killer specifications and features. But it is still incomparable to the likes of Samsung and Apple
ASUS plastered a 6.46-inch Full HD+ NanoEdge IPS LCD 19.5:9 aspect ratio screen with 600 nits brightness, HDR10, on the ZenFone 6 and the display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
With the smaller bezels, and NanoEdge IPS LCD, the phone boasts of an thinner 92% screen-to-body ratio. And it displays 1080 x 2340 pixels.
The mobile handset comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor, dual rear camera and it is available in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver colors.
ZenFone 6 Rotating Camera
The ZenFone 6 rotating camera is relatively simple. It is a motorized tech, and it is also situated at the back panel of the phone.
Well, it rotates vertically to the front face of the phone, only when the selfie shooter is in question. The company also added protection for the cameras when falling, it can retract the camera to its rear position within seconds, much like the OnePlus 7 Pro.
