A day ago, one of the best leading Social Networking Website -Twitter was testing an upgrade from 140-character word to 280-character word but finally, it has been finally out.
The new 280 word feature is to double your words, instead of typing just 140-words as your update, maybe telling a story or an important information, you can now officially type 280 words!
A company spokesperson says the company is confident most people will appreciate the change:
We understand since many of you have been Tweeting for years, there may be an emotional attachment to 140 characters – we felt it, too. But we tried this, saw the power of what it will do, and fell in love with this new, still brief, constraint.
At first, Twitter was testing the new feature with some people but right now, it is now official, although, it has not yet been rolled out to everyone. Here is how you can activate it using some trick-ish method.
