Tecno wants to start producing Android Phones in Nigeria!

One of the top Africa Phone, tablet including Android-PC Manufacturing Giant who recently launched the award winning Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 plus Android Smartphone are thinking about something that will empower Nigeria.

Well, when I realized that Nigeria are angry at Tecno was when they are about to launch their Smartphone at Dubai. Almost everybody were like “what! why didn’t Tecno launch their phone in Nigeria, because it is only Nigeria and Kenya that purchases their phone a lot”

So now that the manufacturing is in Nigeria, I hope they should be happy, because they won’t just be launching the phone here again in Nigeria but they would be producing Android Smartphone too!

The Chinese phone company, whose business has entered its 10th year the Middle East and African markets, has informed of plans to set up a manufacturing plant in Nigeria.

And they have chose the area, it is not in Abuja or any other place but the firm said it has secured a large expanse of land in one of the choicest areas of Lagos.

Meanwhile, the Tecno Deputy Marketing Manager, Nigeria, Attai Oguche, who disclosed this in Lagos, at the launch of the firm’s new mobile devices—Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus, said the firm is committed to the Nigerian market, hence the need to site a manufacturing plant in the country.

He also went ahead to add that Tecno has its first African manufacturing plant in Ethiopia, the firm has established presence in 48 territories, “Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania respectively remain the biggest market on the continent for the phone company.”

Indeed, this is a welcome development. It will not only be cheap but it will also empower Nigeria youths. That is reducing UN-employment in Nigeria.

Did you know that, firm currently controls 25.3 per cent market share in Nigeria? That is hilarious right. And also the firm said it has revolutionized mobile telephony in well over 30 African countries; giving mobile users global quality devices at affordable rates.
