Oppo A1 Smartphone with Facial Recognition and 4GB RAM

    The Chinese company quietly launched the Oppo A1 and it will be available on the 1st of April. The new entry-level Smartphone arrives with some amazing and impressive specs.

    We would be expecting the Oppo F7 with the notch display sooner or later. To keep us in the game, the company launched the AI Smartphone with a mid-range specs and features.

    The stylish design on the new Oppo A1 comes handy. Although, it doesn’t arrive with the specs on high end phone but the front and back design is miraculous wonderful and it looks good on hand and it is pocket friendly. The screen size is something to behold, lets a look at the key specs;

    The phone packs a tall 5.7 inches IPS LCD display accompanied with 18:9 aspect screen ratio, giving the phone a polished look at the front and back in a thin, sleek and curved bezels. Thanks to heaven, it doesn’t feature the Notch display. It also comes with the 720 x 1440 screen resolution pixels and a 282 ppi density, you see this regularly.

    The Oppo A1 comes in multiple colour options like Blue, Red, White. So, it fit your stylish fashion sense. The back camera and selfie shooter packs a whole loads of amazing pixels for the best crystal clear shooter.

    On the front facing camera, you have a 13-megapixel f/2.2 for taking cool images with your friends while on the front, you have got a 8MP front selfie camera, both featuring the LED Flash. So, you can basically shoot images and videos in the dark.

    It is fueled by an unnamed octa-core Snapdragon chipset processor and it runs the company’s own Color OS wrapped under Android 7.1 Nougat. It also comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable to 128GB via Micro SD card, this allows you to run various apps, games under the hood and you can save more with the large storage capacity.

    The Oppo AI also comes with gaming acceleration mode that allows the smartphone to optimize memory usage even when ten games are simultaneously running in the background.

    It features a 3180mAh capacity, the company claims it can last for a day and there is the fast charging technology to keep you going. The company ditched the fingerprint sensor for a facial recognition with other tradition securities.

    The Face recognition on Oppo A1 can capture 128 unique facial features to provide accurate unlocking capabilities whenever the user raises the phone up to their face, the company claims.

    For the pricing and availability, the Oppo A1 will go on sale as from April 1st, 2018 in China, and it will be available in Cherry Red and dark Blue. The price will cost just CNY1,399 in China or around €179 in Europe.
