From the report reaching us is that the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, today monday, 8th October 2012 reveals that the Students are protesting to show their anger over the Latest tuition fee hike imposed by the School Authorities.
From the report we received, we were duly informed that about NGN15,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) was added to the New tuition fee of the University, representing her Internet(Lionet) fee and other allied fees.
One of the students told news room, who pleaded anonymous. He said “There is riot in University of Nigeria UNEC(UNEC) now over the school fees issue. The police blocked the main gate in UNEC to prevent people from entering the entering the school premises. We are all praying for God to come and help us. The money added is too much”
We hope the government will put a halt to this riot before it worsen the more.
