Anambra State University on Riot Over Non-Payment Of School Fees
From the reports reaching our desk is that the Anambra State University, ANSU Uli, is currently in chaos as students battle Anti-cults squad over tuition fees issues.
There is riot going now in Anambra State University, Campus following the continual sending out of students from the Examination hall for not paying their school fees etc. This is a new development adopted by Universities and other college of education in Nigeria, back in the days when we were in school, you are not forced to pay your tuition fees, you can successfully write all your semesters examinations without getting chased out. The only thing is you won’t see your results or name. Same thing is going on at Imo State University, IMSU, Students who are yet to pay their tuition fees are sent out of the examination hall, that is a complete Carry Over. Now Education is ONLY for the Rich. So 2012/2013 Aspirants should take note. While still at home, Save for your Education.
The Main Cause of Anambra State University Riot all began when some students of the engineering department of ANSU were beaten by the University’s Anti-Cult Unit (A.k.A MPIAWAZU) after being caught trying to get into the examination hall without paying their tuition fees.
The beating of the students by the Anti-Cult Unit angered their fellow colleagues who were still outside the hall and they express their annoyance by casting stones and other nearby objects at the anti cult squad.
Other students of Anambra State University, ANSU who also witnessed the Incident joined in the game of casting objects at the anti-cult squad and the anti cult unit where chased out of the University premises only to return back with a team of Mobile policemen.
From the reports reaching us is that the students of ANSU have completely destroyed the anti cult office and also the Anambra State Universit, ANSU Vice Chancellor’s office. As all cases, the students will be billed for this actions. So get prepared.
This Incident cause all the students to stopped their ongoing examinations after chasing all the lecturers from the examination halls and centres.
This riot may terminate all further examinations until the issue is settled.
